Marque Heritage & Motorsport DNA
The History of Audi
Formed by August Horch, Audi's famous four rings represent the 1932 merger of four Saxon motor vehicle manufacturers into Auto Union. In 1980, Audi revolutionized international rallying with the Ur-Quattro, proving the supremacy of all-wheel drive. Through Audi Sport in Neckarsulm, the RS lineage and the naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 R8 established the marque at the peak of high-performance daily driving.
